NVIDIA to no longer focus on smartphones

The company is instead shifting its focus to gaming oriented devices and cars.

In short "we are beaten so bad by qualcomm that we need to quit providing soc for smartphones"
i admit tegrat k1 is powerful but they really dont fit on mobiles.

There are too many players in the market with equally good solutions and some of them are just plain better over all as a complete SoC package SW/HW wise like Qualcomm.

        The NVIDIA CEO is a useless person and his lack of intelligence leads NVIDIA to this...terrible advertisement, lack of support, horrible decisions and so on...NVIDIA is a great company and crappy managements will lead them to failure...LIKE NOKIA
        and now in the start of releasing first TEGRA K1 chip device he came and said this...FFS, you are the stupidest person I've ever known

          Thats a poor decision as most gaming happens on mobile now PSP's Ds's are not being made now and it's only a matter of time before mobile starts eating ps4/Xbox one with their longer upgrade cycle compare to new mobile chips every 6 months, they mightn't be as good but people will prefer the all in one device over a focused standalone device

GPU alone doesn't make a SoC attractive to a OEM. Non-Kepler based Tegra SoCs are all rubbish in all honesty for graphics and even more so on thermals.

              Tegra is one of the best chipset with excellent graphics support.. Now Adreno don't have any competition.. Mali is not best as it doesn't support some games like real racing 3..
