Its too big for my taste but you never know until you get a hold of one. Might be useful if you have a smart watch that way you do not have to take it out of your pocket all the time.
With all the smart watches getting smarter all the time it will probably make sense to some to carry a big device for some.
If this turns out to be the case it will mean death to the all the 7 & 8 inch tabs.

i live in Indonesia, and watching people talking to their phablets/tablets is common sight here.
ever since the Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 (the first tablet which support voice call) became widely available few years ago, people started using it to replace their phones.
now you can easily spot people with the 5" ~ 8" devices on the street.
it's not limited to Samsung or Huawei or any global brands,
but Indonesia's local brands like Axioo, Advan, Polytron, IMO, CrossX, Smartfren, etc also enjoy profits with their phablet/tablet products.
so i'm pretty sure this 7" phablet would become another money maker for Samsung, just like last year's Galaxy Mega 6.3

It's easy to type, but in horizontal mode two hands are needed to operate the device easily. Of course, the S3 is a small device so of course it's easy to use with only one hand in almost every situation. I have relatively small hands.
