Alex, 10 Jun 2014So which is better the tab S 8.4 or the tab Pro 8.4its obviously the pro s 8.4.
With 3Gb of ram against the of the pro and a supper amoled display and bigger battery capacity plus the latest operating system version it just zooms past any tab you can immagine today.

I definately suggest yo go for the pro s.

So this looks like a sequel to the Tab 7.7. which was a super amoled and very thin.
I would still say 7.7 was better in its time 2 years back with a metal body. Samsung does not have many metal body phone/tab. I used it for one year as my primary phone, and still use it as non phone activity for mails and news on the go. When I am travelling I put the local sim in that and use it as my primary device for phone & data. I use a motorola bluetooth to receive / make calls, or my wired headset.
The screen remains as vibrant as day one, and very good for videos. Hope S8.4 would have the same performance and looking forward to replace my 7.7.

So I suppose this one isn't a galaxy note 8 refresh? Since there's no visible s pen slot there, how many tablets are samsung planning to release on the 12th?

this will be the best mid sized tablet on the market...

i am a previous owner of tab 7.7 and it had the most brilliant display for movies... this device will even be better and i was waiting for such a long time for an amoled magnificent device. ALthough i am a note series man now... but if it was a year ago then i would have bought this travel the same day it came out...

This is an *extremely* sexy device. I can attest that side bezels are not necessary, and I'm glad that they have been given the boot. As an owner of a Nexus 7, this tablet is only slightly bigger in dimensions (about 1cm all around), but with incredible specs.

I like that Samsung is finally focussing on top-tier tablets with great specs rather than uncountable mid-level devices. I would love to see a 7" variant of this device with tiny bezels, a small form factor, and great battery life.
