Honestly, I don't even check M8 prices although just by memory I know new grey market M7's are under USD 350 now.

No Fan Boy...!, 04 Jun 2014Dude , FIY , The desire 816 costs Rs 18000 in China , but ... morepricing is affected by many aspect. for example, the tax rate. so dont blame the company like that. As they startingto make good phone with a resonable price.( same spec like others flagship model which made with plastic. )

Samsung... moreYou are joking, right? Unlocked retail HTC M8 costs USD686.77 exluding tax on Amazon.com and RMB4299 (USD690) including 17% tax on Amazon.cn, so which one is cheaper again?
Carrier branded Galaxy S5 without contract is ~USD690 on Amazon, and RMB4480~4999 (USD722~806) again including tax (the $806 version is also dual-sim).
So unless you live in tax-free states, M8/S5 are cheaper in China, and that's only the proper retail ones, grey import without tax is much cheaper.

Will HTC ONE E8 come with Video calling facility?? I dont think any HTC phone has 3G vid calling facility Also screen resolution is increased so will 2600 MhA battery will be sufficient??

The desire 816 costs Rs 18000 in China , but in India it costs Rs 24000 .
So if One(E8) in china costs Rs 26000 , in India it will be between Rs 32000-35000 or may be even more , you know HTC prices its phones ridiculously...!

This is the only phone that sells cheap in china.
Samsung S5 cost around 800USD and m8 cost around 850USD.

oh and Chinese websites are reporting that the E8 will in fact also be dual-sim standby same as the Desire 816 (in China, at least).
