Most phones come with a 2 year contract and people happily spend 2-5% of their annual income on their mobile phone over the contract lifetime. One who purchases a Vertu likely will spend significantly less than 2% of their annual income on the device.

Haters will always be haters . . . Come on , if u cant afford it like me , dont whine over it . Spec wise , nothing to shout off especially in 2014 yet at least it's not so old . Its like saying Aston Martins are over priced and "slow" when a Nissan GTR which cost so much least can out run it anytime . Who cares about handmade leather trims , wood panel , everything else , we want cheap and fast . If everyone think like u guys , Aston , Ferrari , Lambo would have either closed down or going to since the Nissan GTR R35 came out .

Aaah luxury. Look at the craftmanship in that jewel. Expensive materials, simplistic UI.. Perfect!! (People, simplistic UI spells elegance. Besides, people who buy this want expensive, not colorful. They probably don't mind changing the default setting in there or not have the time. Besides, they probably ask the Concierge anything, like send me this type of wallpaper or app and a live walkthrough. And the techie specs are more than enough. Fast and reliable is ok, but different is a MUST.)

You know high powered tech is vaslty available when a Vertue phone has current flagship specs....Vastly available.
Cheaper brands always have been gaining access to better stuff...But this.....Really makes a difference.
Their specs are always YEARS behind.

What is there to complain about? Many people are employed building and selling to people who have much money to spend. The problem with Vertu now is that they use Android, it is not possible to make Android luxurious since it's something everyone uses....hence the lack of UI on the video.
