It is nice to know that more manufacturers are now supporting Windows Phone.

On another note, it feels like Nokia and Microsoft is in an open relationahip. Like Nokia can go Android, then Microsoft supporting other manufacturers when they already bought Nokia's mobile division..

    Hmmm, interesting

Windows Phone has just announced free for OEMs recently. This is the reason why you see more OEMs are making phones for WP OS. Android has been enjoying free OS for so long. Now it's WP turn.

Prestigio is making cheap and rea... moreActually its based in Cyprus, but it's owned by Russians which use Cyprus as their HQ due to Cyprus being in the EU. This holds true for a lot of Russian companies such as Wargaming also (who bought a huge building under construction close to the presidential palace [not really a palace-just named that way] for their global HQ).

lonesomedovepk, 04 Jun 2014If u live in one place same people same culture same things... moreI used Linux for more than 6 months and switched back to windows (lack of compatible, good quality software). I still use Linux for projects, but in a Windows world, I am forced to join the herd. As for WP and Android. I used WP as well for almost a year (lumia 820) and I loved the OS. A bit limited compared to android, but buttery smooth. Even better now, with WP 8.1. Now I have the Note 3 and I can still feel some lag at times. Seems to be slower even than the iPhone 5 (used that as well for 4 months before I got frustrated with its limitations). I can bare with the occasional lags, just because none of the other OSs provide so much flexibility. But now with WP 8.1 and the file manager, I might switch back. Or maybe I'll go with iphone 6 if it gives me what I need. It just depends on what you need your phone for. And, FLAME ALERT, there are just some retards that buy iPhones just because they are iPhones. But I don't think they hang out on this site :) Cheers!

These are some good news. Prestigio is making cheap and really decent phones. I like their camera performance. They manage to put BSI sensors in some of their budget but well above average phones. BSI exists for quite some time now and it is even more affordable than the old generation sensors. It seems to me like the companies are still using the old ones to justify phone segmentation and absurdly high prices of the flagship phones. The only thing that bothers me is that Prestigio is a soviet company.

Then so long goodbye Blu, Prestigio, Yezz and of course Micromax! The Nokia fans and employees know exactly what am I talking about.

Good thing about WP is that you only need to worry a bit about the hardware and nothing about the software because that is Standard on all Windows Phone also Nokia apps are gonna be available on these phones so Enjoy fully OS now the OEM doesn't matter at all...

All you need is to get a Windows Phone I'm desperately waiting for these phones now...

Microsoft and nokia are running like a headless chicken in the smartphone market. They are just trying anything that could possibly work, without any target for long term future.
