Trust me,4.4 is nowhere near as good as 4.3 was,it's full of lags, bugs,it drains battery life like crazy and overheat my phone almost to the point where I can make a barbecue on it.

... moreAnd. Everything has bugs and not everyone has all that. I would think the bigger thing is the SD permissions changing. Even that is more user dependent.
And you can choose the update or not.
Anyway it will probably get the option for 4.4. It will most likely just take a while.

Why on Earth at this late in the game would it get a 4.3? Just release 4.4.
Then again it is older and this is Sony. It probably will get 4.4. Just not for a while.
Sony is catching up in flagships and updates, but still have room for improvement. At least it's getting it.
