Wow, Japanese, Korean and Chinese phones already offered this feature for free years and years ago! (Over the air free tv and could sometimes get cable).

Maybe you should know what you are talking about before trying to spread misinformation.
btw, have you tried assigning video ringtones on an N96?
For some reason they don't work, yet Nokia has them in there in their default ringtones, talk about promising what they can't deliver.

The quality can be a lot higher as the video is being processed directly not run through a software layer running on the phones cpu.
You know how YouTube offers high def variants of their clips?
iPhones just open them up and start playing them.

what al the fu**-ing bit***-es (nokia,sony-ericson,LG lovers)cry about is that ther stupid phones have crapy software ...like dinosaur ages software that crack's every now and then right when you need it the moust .I don't understand in first place why you read the story if you are not interested in this product and after that you take the time to bitch around that all of us iPhone users don't aboute some features that have been around since ages .I have to sai that you are to stupid to understand that behinde this phone is not a history of 2 years ,but a history of more then 30 years .....!!! that alsow made it posible for youre stupid phones to have videorecording ,mms and others crap that you don't iven use ...thanks to a company that until now did't profit from many of its inovations until now .

I already have one of those chinese phones with built in analog tv tuner. Mine was only $150 USD and I never have to pay for the tv I watch. I get ABC, NBC, and CBS and since they are all low-powered translators (my area is very mountainous and most full powered broadcasts do not reach here) they will continue to broadcast in analog after june 12th, I even asked the chief engineer of the channels and he told me that they don't plan on updating them to digital atleast until 2012 when the FCC will probably mandate all low powered broadcasts to be digital too.
