Went into my local branch yesterday (15th June 2014) with the intention of placing an order, only to find the price reduction had been withdrawn. Site also reflects this.... :-(

Everyone is missing the point here. £250 for a device with that spec on which also gets the OTA updates first is an amazing deal weither you like LG or not. Also Consumer rights state in store you do not automatically get a cooling off period. Most places with give you 14 days some 7, if you buy online you get 7 days by law however, companies like CPW place conditions to the bill of sale which excludes any returns due to change of mind. They will enforce this if the device has been open and used because they can't sell it back on. The standard 28 day faulty return is only a guide lines. It's actually 14 days with the seller. The manufacturer says if anything will go wrong, it will within 28 days. If you sent it them, they would swap for a brand-new one. The G2 is also a good shout at £285. If they had Samsung wrote on the top, yous would all be going wild. Samsung software touchwize is awful but people still go for them because it's "Samsung"

Car phone warehouse staff are rude and good luck getting your money back if you get sold a faulty one. They did this offer before only to put the price back up. Also in store it costs another £10 or £20 than it does online. Previously red version was only available online. Also don't take your old phone to car phone warehouse - you will get a lot more money for it selling it at CEX!
