It really is 4G/LTE compatible on both sim cards since its dual sim. Also, to help with the heating, it has a quick cooling system ie polar cooling.

Impressive thinning! Compliments to Oppo! !!!

      1. You cannot buy it just like OnePlus One. It is for marketing purpose only.

      2. Take out storage to give you card slot. Bad trade. Those company are short changing people.

And it only has TD-based 3G/4G, so it will only work on China Mobile in 3G/4G mode, don't know what GSMArena is talking about "vanilla 2G/3G GSM connectivity for roaming". Outside of China you will only get 2G GSM connectivity.

The Gionee s5.5 runs hot and drains fast, and doesn't have any 4G for that matter, but has both TD-SCDMA and WCDMA radios so it can connect to 3G networks throughout the world.

Speaking of Gionee, they also just released a LTE version of their elife7, dubbed the E7L which supports both TD (China) and FD (International) LTE bands. That one's for free, GSMArena. They must be getting tired of digging news out of their own forums by now.

Beto, 12 Jun 2014Thinnest, but about the battery?Official Oppo specs stats 2420mAh battery.

I'd be more concerned about the heat. Everyone blah blah's about the Gionee s5.5 being the world's thinnest phone, but it's probably also the world's hottest, literally -- it really heats up with normal use, and the battery drains fast. Personally handled one. But then again Gionee squeezed in a Octacore CPU, so maybe Oppo's use of a Snapdragon 400 is a cooler choice.
