There are more important things in the world than Siri (which only works for english speakers anyway).

I'd rather have (automatic) full 2 way call-recording which IMHO is more useful in day to day celphone operation than a silly gimmick that only a fraction of users can use.

Just for the sake of it!
If you can spend 800USD on a crippled fashion statement with a fruit logo then sure you can spend 400 bucks on a truly innovative platform too. Stupid hypocrites!

It's only to say: I also bet on the underdog. Not just the corporations that made 2 of richest bastards on this planet.

Let somebody else get some big bucks. And these guys deserve it!

AnonD-174570, 12 Jun 2014They should port this OS to popular smartphones especially ... moreThey are already working on that. Nexus4 and S3 both are in working. Those who have joined as beta testers for Nexus4 has already got it. In 2nd half of 2014 they have planned to launch an SDK which will make it easy to port SailfishOS to Android devices

They should port this OS to popular smartphones especially the relatively older ones who have reached end of life of software updates like galaxy s3/s2, galaxy nexus, htc one S/X, or maybe even nexus 4. This way they can reach to the masses and have some hope their platform/phone be adapted widely. This way they can also cash on appstore/advertising $$'s

Pointless. Is Jolla going to make a Siri clone as well? Even Samsung's own OS cannot compete and they have boatloads of money.

Mobile OS needs Ecosystem and Services, like Android does. (plenty of applications, support, and google services). So, why buy this obsolete jolla phone??? Only for very silly people. Better buy an android. Top1 in the world for NEXT 5 years
