Of course the argument goes it's to distribute surplus cash to share holders...and that is certainly a side effect of split
However, IMHO, the real reason to do the split is to make the stock appear affordable to Joe Bloke - they buy and the major share holders get out-

Samsung dont update. Just wait a year or so and Sammy will drop support for upgrade to latest Android. Sooner or later this will be one of their antiquated devices in terms of OS. Though theres cyanogenmod, but still.
Whilst my legacy iPad 2 is still rocking latest version and will be supported till next ios8.

Battery only 7900mAh? the tab 10.1 pro has a LCD display and has 8220mAh battery! the super amoled will ofcourse consume more battery. how is possible they lower the battery capacitiy of this tablet OMG!! that is so annoying, like buying a porsche with 20 Liter fuel tank. Samsung i hate you.

With the Apple 'local storage' favouritism... more... as a matter of fact, the computer is almost obsolete with MHL-just plug the cell on the big screen and work sheets, documents etc in the cloud. No need to save, no hassle of a crash and no nonsense like if you ring the bell here it automatically rings there - stone age stuff for real

does it have fingerprint sensor??? Since iPad doesn't have, I hope Samsung come out with fingerprint sensor for their tablets first than Apple
