It is an amazing thing that nearly two years after Apple’s signature device hit the market, cellphone industry stalwarts are still playing catch-up,copy cats of Iphone technology but the good news for consumers is that they are inching closer

To those who claim this phone is garbage, believe that they never used it!
I owned blue N5800 2 week sago, so far im very satisfied with this phone, all go smoothly and don't have any problem. Small problem will be fixed by new firmware, so just wait and see the maximum performance from this phone.

This phone was rushed to market by Nokia after they got far too comlpacent as 'market leaders' & proclaimed that the touchscreen was only a fad. As a result this handset was riddled with issues from the start, thankfully most of which have now been addressed by the firmware updates.

This phone was $A474 in Australia, then Nokia added 'Comes with Music' and the price changed to $A974!

                                $A500 does not equal free.

It costs more than an iPhone!

The 5800 is the worst Nokia ever. We have them back in record numbers. Build quality and materials used are rubish and the touch interface is so bad that you have to hit it with a hammer to respond sometimes.

3.2 mpx is fine for a 'Music' phone and Free music for a year is hard to refuse.

Changing the fascia to metal would increase the price of this handset where Nokia obviously want this phone to be an affordable touch phone.

ANyone slagging off this phone should get a life, it's a great phone
