Rebel , 19 Jun 2014Why we still cannot buy z3? BB will not earn any money like... moreBlackBerry will not be going bankrupt anytime soon. They are growing cash:
"Cash climbed to $3.1 billion, up from last quarter's $2.7 billion".

Depending on what region you are in, that will determine whether you get the Z3 or not. It's a "region specific" phone.

keep bashing the bb guys haha because thats the only thing you can do about the best phone and os in the world, i will not argue about the volume sales but rather the usefulness of the phone, cant find any other phone that can match the productivity and capabilities of bb phones, im loving my q10 the design, the true mukti tasking capabilities, the unending possibilities that it can do,bbm is the killer haha, its the best messenger no log in no crap, purely messaging,

for those troll outthere use the bb first before complaining, BBOS10 is superb, unlimited capabilities and come november when version 10.3 arrives together with bb passport and bb classic

I hope BB can survive. They have the best OS by far and we do need the BB security even if geeks dont care about anything but games and a sharp screen. Pity GSM Arena does not give more support to BB. Too much focus on the outdated notion of "ecosystems" which can be over rated as to the extent of usefulness, as opposed to prevention of chronic spyware and marketing of personal data.

Wow - love :-) I thought that only Apple was a religion but reading the comments it seems that BB is one as well. You do realize, guys, that we are a talking about a company, not your girlfriends/wives?
I decide year on year which company deserves my money and attention and as nothing is constant every second year or so I switch the brand of my phone. And I don't love any of the companies. ..and, no, I have never had a BB and I do not intend to have one ever...

AnonD-209094, 19 Jun 2014Of course device sales are up, the price of Z10 was slashed... moreSir I'm a BlackBerry and I'm sorry representing hold team of #BBM #BLACKBERRY to making u insecure through bbm.what are we suppose to do we deliver what people want.people want a messenger that keeps you online without any notice.when coming to xperia(a Droid)asks u to sign in to ur google account(that's what everyone do).but it keeps u login everytime at hangout that u probably never use even once a day(coz of Whatsapp, bbm, line, telegram,we chat.....)and if u even try to uninstall it stay in ur device as "google talk)(2.3.6) for that u need to have super user permissions, root access, flashing the device, unlocking the bootloader.....
But one thing is coming what u don't like at bbm doesn't matter to us....:)

Blackberry will have tough competitions now that Windows Phone is free for the OEMs to use.

I bet you never used a Blackberry. Who pays you to post such non-sense comment? And beware with XPeria because they also have BBM. Better to buy a 1998 Nokia to be on the safe side. By the way... next month BBM will be available for Windows mobile phones as well. Then it will be a truly cross platform. Keep moving Blackberry! Bashers will bash always.

So says the guy that's moving from a secure closed platform to an open source platform which personal info is comprised by every free app you download from the google play store!!!!!.. BB OS is the most secure platform than any other os out there, yet you the time to troll and claim that your privacy is invaded.. The simple thing you would is not to add people on bbm.

I don't understand what his issues with BBM are. BBM is separate from text, call, email, contacts, etc.

I recommend that Microsoft buy Blackberry as most of Blackberry official customers already switched to Nokia Lumia 930 specially in UK...

But Microsoft should maintain blackberry's OS and improve their Hardware but their hardware is good already people only tends for Android and Windows apps so Microsoft should make blackberry's OS such that it runs all apps of Google and Microsoft then its gonna be the most favourite phone. I love blackberry. My first smartphone was Blackberry Curve 9300 3G

BlackBerry will definitely live up on market expectations, they will surely bounce back under John chen guidance....wait and watch they will prove their metal by this fiscal.

Keep it up Sir John Chen and BlackBerry we are with you.

Of course device sales are up, the price of Z10 was slashed to the bone, maybe sold with no profit. The better than expected result is more likely due to cutting expenses very aggressively.

Im using Z10 now and its good but the forced BBM is getting on my nerves, i be changing away from BB again. Too bad, the OS is the best but the privacy violation in BBM is too severe. I advice people to think twice before buying a BB10 device, once you enter your BB id into a BB10 phone you are forced to be a BBM user, no option to log out or disable or uninstall, going invisible is impossible as well, all you can do is change status. Sounds crazy but its true, BB gives their customers the shaft with BBM, i didnt know they had that many buyers to spare.

Was gonna buy BB Z3 but because of BB's extreme privacy violations I'll be going back to Xperia instead.
