I dont know what you all are bitching about.
I've used Nokia X , and for a mid range phone I find it amazing.
it's smooth and comes with preloaded apps, and yet still there's enough space without a memory card. And the UI is different, its nice. It isn't the best, but its nice.
The phone is quiet fast.
Only dissappiontment is the Camera due to lack of flash, and the volume. While playing music, is pathetic.
In the same price we get a samsung star pro. Now THAT phone is really pathetic and slow and so friggin laggy!
So i'm happy with the nokia X .

I have no idea what Nokia wants to do, it is very hard to understand them. They launch Android phones so quickly one after another and yet they r low end.

Beto, 20 Jun 2014Nokia (mobile) is not Nokia anymore, it's Microsoft...Nokia are NOT owned by Microsoft. Microsoft refused to buy the whole company. Microsoft bought Lumia outright & Asha for 10 years. Nokia are locked into making a certain number of each handset, then each company are free to go their separate ways until another contract is made. Therefore Nokia are looking towards life without Microsoft o/s, should that situation arise. Micosoft's biggest problem is they play the field like the hot chic that won't commit to 1 guy. Now she's lost her looks & the newer models are far past her ... ;-)

dont see the point of nokia bringing android phones out. Because they put much nokia skinning on it. it looks like windows. so pointless excercise.

although i suggested in tip Nokia may unveil X2 but i think it will be proper Lumia 520 successor(not like 525's increased Ram) . Nokia might bump up the Hardware from original 520 but it will not have more than 4.3" screen.

Nokia no longer exists as a hardware company its MS who has licensed Nokia name till 2016. And I am pretty sure this is the last X phone people will see since it wld have been developed already before MS bought it and MS just want to clear it out.

Android on Nokia have big chance between 2009-2012 but Elop and management make very bad decisions like choose WP as their only OS, like dont even try Android ealier. No need top phone, atm MS dont have good mid phone. 1320 is big-low, 1520 and 930 is high price group. MS need something like
new lumia 820~920. 1,5GB(minimum 1GB), 300+ dpi, 4,5 - 4,8; 16/32GB, LTE, DLNA, Wi-Fi,
Bluetooth, FM radio, microUSB 3.0, 8-10 MP Carl Zeiss, optical image stabilization, auto/manual focus, Xenon & LED flash, Quad-core 1.5 GHz+, GPU Adreno 3xx +, IP67, dust tight, removable battery ~ 2500. Even with android it will be nice phone if they dont overestimated it.

Microsoft made it as a part of the deal to buy the sad remains of the once mighty phone maker, to use the Nokia name for a few years after Nokia couldn't make it as a Winphone maker.
Good for Microsoft, now they got at least one popular OS, the Android, that also is fully working OS, not like those Steve Ballmer failed OS:es carrying the MS Windows names,
