The larger screened iPhones are probably the most anticipated smartphones on the planet right now. Even those who aren't fans are at least wondering what Apple will do.
So far, Tim Cook has steered Apple to be more open, developer friendly, and is also pressuring prices downwards a little.
Apple is listening, and I think the results will be great in 2014 and 2015

So now they'll start making phablet iPhones?? Too late Apple, Samsung been making phablets since 2011 and yes of course they're half the price of that iPhone phablet expected price.

People buy iPhones because they improve at a steady pace, and don't have useless features that other desperate manufacturers shoehorn in. Plus the updates are far better and more swift. Watching other handsets get their updates before yours due to fragmentation is annoying.
Also, if you've been with Apple for more than a few years, why would you want to go over to another eco system where you have to re-buy the same apps (some of which may not be available on Android or WP). The App Store was far superior to them for years, and people will have made many worthwile purchases. They don't want to abandon these, or invest in two eco systems.

Are you new to tech blogs? Lenovo and Huawei making inroads into the us market? Ok, so what? Huawei competes in the extreme low end in the US and Lenovo, do they even sell phones in the US? I would love to see where you got your data on Lenovo's US smartphone market share. Stay in school. You still have a lot to learn.

And companies like Samsung and LG can afford to bring prices down as they make their devices with their own parts.
Not that they do, as the S5 was just £10 less on release. That's an extra £10 for a free OS with a skin, and plastic body.

One of the MAIN reasons people switch from iPhones or simply don't buy them is because of the smaller screen size. If the iPhone 6 sports a 4.7" and/or a 5.5", Samsung, HTC, and LG are about to lose a loooooot of customers JUST because iOS lovers finally get their choice of OS with a large enough screen size for them to enjoy the apps from App Store.

And you with your same old whini... moreother flag ships are awesome, in which century you are living ? why every apple lover has to dis other brands in order to prove that apple is better ? i do love apple and being a computer student i do understand the innovations done by Apple but thats it this does not mean apple or apple products are THE ONLY ONE, apple and its users are stuck with this superiority complex, i read the news that Huawei and Lenovo are marking numbers in US :) i guess shame for Apple cant keep up within its home country demand

He has his same old jokes. And you with your same old whining about the price. The thing is, people will still buy the phone even if it hasn't got all those features from other rival phones and even if it costs an arm and a leg. Its not like the other flagships are any cheaper anyway.

4.7" iPhone: if it features a dual LED flash, and it's good for one handed usage... way to go
5.5" iPhone: too big for a phone.
I'll probably purchase the good and (at the time) old iPhone 5S, with touch ID to keep the GF away from my Whatsapp and dual LED flash on the back camera ;)
