Only Sony knows how to make a proper "mini" of a flagship. Like Z1 and Z1 Compact, they have basically the same specification, not like other phone makers.

Wow a shitty combination of 2gb ram with 1.2 Ghz processor this is why lg phones are not doing well in earth except korea .it should be atleast 1.7 Ghz or above quad core processor

Angry Mobile Nerd, 30 Jun 2014Is LG calling it a mini? Look at the freaking picts alread... moreIt looks like a G3 but smaller.

          So mini.

But then again. Most "mini" are like this. Crap specs.. and crap specs in android is no good.

I think everyone is thinking the same thing, it's a 5 inch display so I'm not sure it can be classed as a mini, a compact G3 maybe or something but not a mini otherwise why would it be the same size as some flagship phones.

Is LG calling it a mini? Look at the freaking picts already -- they're clearly labelling it the "LG G3 Beat" with no mention of "mini" whatsoever.

Amazing, GSMArena writes "mini" in the headline and you all go apesh*t.

I don't see the draw of this, right now in China 2700 yuan lands you a 32GB G2 through official channels (not grey market). The only thing this would have over a G2 would be support for Chinese 4G.

Please stop calling 5 inches display phones mini. It is ridiculous. A minimum of 4.3-4.5" should be considered mini

Right I'll start off by telling you that I work for the major network in the UK, ill also tell you that I am one of the people responsible for picking what phones our network starts selling...

If this is true, and it turns out to be an LG G3 Mini, then I promise I'll do everything I can so that we don't start selling this monstrosity of a phone...

To me, mini should be 4-4.5" screen that is 720p not 5 inch! The LG meeting is soon, I guess I know what I'll be saying!

                        LG G3 Beat.

Every look-a-like smaller than the flagship itself is a "mini"?

                        Lol

I don't think LG regards this phone as a mini G3.. Makes this article a bit questionable.

Rofl what, a 5 inch phone is considered mini now ?

Just 2-3 years back, a 5 inch phone would have been considered a phablet...how fast is technology progressing..

What's the size of this one ?
