I can tell you now that there is no slowing down in iPhone sales, they continue to walk out the door more and more people are starting to want them, not based on websites like this but on seeing the experiences of their friends.

and it wasn't planned it was as desperate call since the phone was nothing and people were already hacking it and making apps to force the phone to do things it shouldn't be doing like
recording video,bluetooth file tranfering ,Cutting and pasting,zooming on the camera..things like that
and then they gave the SDKs to the public to use

in reguards to the comment below. as far as email goes i prefer a blackberry .... push email is better . but i do agree it is a good phone especially when reverse engineered

iPhone's don't need Adobe's proprietry software, smart web developers make their sites so the iPhone comes to them not the other way around.
The iPhone plays h.264 video clips in hardware it doesn't need Adobe's software to bog it down.

therock, 24 Apr 2009ummm..nooo...the plastic that nokia uses are not cheap othe... moreOne drop of my friend's N76 made the flip "flipped over 180 degrees", and the "open flip to answer / close to end" function went dead immediately.
Then the "metal casing" Moto V3maxx used by my friend's wife was dropped to concrete ground over 20 times and it still works perfectly.

If you don't need the "connection" just buy a radio.
