Apple announce triumphant financial quarter results

It now came Apple's turn for announcing their financial results for the first quarter of 2009. The company acquired a revenue of 8.16 billion US dollars and a net quarterly profit of 1.21 billion US dollars...

therock, 24 Apr 2009are you on crack??? nokia releases several smartphones ever... morenokia is dead my friend. watch out for new SE phones that will be announced in 28 May. now there will be a war betwen 2 giants Sony and Apple and there wont be old style phones like nokia

    [deleted post]i can just imagine a kid after begging his mommy to buy him his iphone. first thing he does is load movies from his computer onto the iphone so that he can play it on the tv. truly sad.

    can't u afford to buy dvd/blu-rays? nobody finds playing movies from your phone useful.

          Well those are the ones the iPhone plays, Google puts them there especially for the iPhone.

                the fact of the matter is an iphone cannot record video, bottom line. whatever video you can play from an iphone onto a tv doesn't make a difference for a phone. that's what laptops and dvd players are for.

                now stop praising that video output like it's the best thing ever created for a phone.

                              ahhh...the n-series line up can do that. also some of the e-series and xpress music series. the n70 which is released by nokia some years ago, before apple built and released the iphone, have that functionality. im sure that function wont be new on the n97.

They where 1st but not anymore because there will be new technolgy that only Sony and Apple can apply so "no country for old phones" anymore hahahhah

                                      the nokia n-series, e-series, and 5800 touchscreen are worth getting due to no contract and being unlocked. the price is similar to an iphone with a contract.

                                      there is the firmware updater for nokia smartphones that can be dowloaded from nokia website if you choose to keep a high end handset. the firmware updater upgrades the nokia high end devices firmware/software as if they are new;free of bugs and problems. nokia upgrades and improves their devices externally and internally which is why new handsets come out every 2 months or so. apple only upgrades the software for the iphone which is boring. same style and design.

                                      have you used an n-series or e-series before?? applications are not limited and restricted. plenty and plenty of them can be downloaded from various websites such as mosh.nokia.com., mobile9.com., and symbianize.com. to enhance and further the capabilities of a nokia device. the ovi store is not needed at this time. the iphone is limited to the apple store only.

                                      nokia builds plenty of handsets base on what people need, unlike the iphone. so long live nokia.
