Apple made a larger display to cater to consumers who wanted a bigger screen, but still prefer iOS over Android.

samsung s5 & note 3 quad core, 2,3 gb ram cant even beat the iphone 5s dual core 1.3 and 1gb ram so sad
and samsung s5 16 mp cant take quality pictures as iphone 5s 8mp does very shamefull

As to the story who cares really just buy the phone you want I like Android and IOS and wish in some respects I could merge the two.

samsung first smartphone copied iphone ,they make plastic junk ,releasing new devices after every couple of months with same features ,same look with bigger screen 'samsung'

You just don't seem to be able to get over your Samsung fixation. Are you really that butt hurt over the article reporting facts about how iPhone users are switching over to the Galaxy S5? It's already happened and you can't change the outcome. Just get over it.
As far as Samsung's quarterly business practices are concerned, I never did care (until now). Like I and another user have already stated, that was never my argument. Lol. What were you not comprehending about that?
My primary point is that the Android OS is destroying iOS in global market share. Period. More people have Android smartphones. That fact cannot be disputed.
Side-note:
I decided to look into Samsung's quarterly profits/losses, and what I have found is much of the same info.
[Excerpt from APRIL 8, 2014 - discussing Jan. & Mar.]
"Samsung reported a profit margin of $7.96 billion which was 4.3% less from 1st quarter of 2013. Earlier in the last quarter too, Samsung declared 6% drop in profits. HTC recorded 22% drop in revenues with $1.1 billion mark and registered a loss of $ 62.3 million."

The losses are based on numbers which are directly in contrast to the previous year. Well, if HTC recorded a 22% drop and loss only $62.3 million, where does that place Samsung's profit loss? In the millions as well. And while no loss is a good thing, I'm sure Samsung will be just fine.
Last year during the same time frame Samsung sold more devices. This year they're a small percentage below those figures. They lost a few million, but still profited in the billions. The S5, Note 4, World Cup in Brazil, and other marketing will help increase sales in Q2 - Q4.
And reports are showing that the Galaxy S5's sales aren't as bad you make it out to be. It sold more units in the first 25 days than the S4, achieving 11 million sold in 1 month (April - May).
I can't wait to see Q2's numbers.

Apple should have increased the screen size of the iPhone long ago. They do this on purpose. Instead of giving consumers options, they milk the newest features little by little to get the most money from consumers. When they released the iPhone 5s, I was so sure that they would include 802.11ac. Boy, was I wrong! I was stuck in the iPhone game for some time, until I began using the Moto X. Now I realize that Android is the better OS IMO and the Galaxy S5 is already years ahead of the iPhone.

There are only 2 droids to rival the One, the Z2 (and Z1 as they are too similar) and G2 (G3 when released).

Lol these ifans barking that Sammy copied finger print sensor from iPhone really. Well sorry to tell you crapple isn't the first phone to have finger print it was Motorola atrix or maybe there was also an older phone but I am not sure about that. So actually apple copied from Motorola. So please stop posting bs.
