I bought MI3 from Lazada last July 4 and I received the unit after 8 hours(Pasig), but I just observed just now when I used it for calling, the screen turn black and I cannot cancel may call but I'm still able to make a call. This will be a problem if you will call on numbers with local since the screen is black you cannot see the dial pad as well as ending or holding and answering new calls. do I need to change setting from my phone? Thanks

a good competition is beneficial for the consumer, right? it's in the consumer's behavior they're targeting on to sell their brands, they studied on how consumer will migrate to a product that suits them, they're infiltrating our pockets to spend more and think less, now how would you allow them to pick some pennies on your pocket is up to you... =)

Ordered thru Lazada, received the phone but to my surprised the CAMERA is defectived, I am not blaming Lazada but at least the quality controller of Xiaomi is responsible for this. Returned the unit for replacement. I bought it because of the 13MP camera and its superb Specs.

I'm an iPhone 4s user, the 5 and 5s were not different enough to tempt me.
On seeing the Mi3 I bought 2. A 16gb from HK and a 64gb from China. The low price is fantastic. The interface slick and intuitive. The screen is gorgeous and ease of transferring music and video to the phone blows iTunes out of the water.
These 2 went to my mum and sister.
I'll hold off a few more months and see if there is a Mi3s or Mi4 and then the iPhone is bye-bye.
Seriously, Apple need to up their game on the iPhone, what we are seeing in the leaked stuff is nowhere near exciting enough to warrant the "3 x the cost" of a Xiaomi price.

Xiaomi and Samsung compete for the same space in many categories. This leads to the conclusion that Xiaomi is more of a Samsung killer.
Apple competes in a rather different segment, and those who buy iPhones, are generally not in the same category as Xiaomi phones (except maybe flagships), so the overlap is minimal.
Xiaomi is going to be a problem for Samsung in the longer run, due to their competing for Android dominance.

Amazing phone, i would never thought of china brand phone come in such high quality & lowly priced, Flagship specs mid low price.
Samsung can kissed their kid range phone good bye, at $240 what can we get from Samsung ? Ace ? Core ? Pathetic ...lo
Anyway for Xiaomi shipped mean sold, as all their phone are sold on line, they will ship only upon customers order & paid, unlike Samsung, Sony, HTC or IP still kept in showroom & warehouse.
