With all due respects to everyone, I believe that the brand name Nokia by Microsoft will be best to adopt. You see, Microsoft in everyone's mind is associated with Software, whereas Nokia with hardware, so keeping both in as far as my opinion is concerned makes more marketing commons sense.

MS should make phone with MIL-STD-810G Standard (like rain, dust, shock resistance etc.) IP67 cert. for water resistance. It should be something like mid-range but far away from low-end, 4-4,5 inches. It must have microSD, Wi-Fi, Radio, Quad-core (no need v. high clock), Adreno 3xx +, GPS with A-GPS, 2500 mAh removable battery, 10-12 Carl Zeiss optics (PVtechnology), Xenon flash, 1,5-2GB RAM. Phone better then 820, 920 but little weaker then 1020/930 in some things.

I'm hoping it to be a 4.5/4.7 inch 720p amoled screen with gorilla glass 3, snapdragon 400/600 with 1 GB ram, 4g lte and a price tag of 250-300 British pounds

i myself before buying smart phone . .i think to its camera first (more mega pixel for the new model ),
i think that it will be costly if nokia/ microsoft release smart phone with 16 or 20 mega pixels with
carl zeiss optic..but so many people will need it as it can do pictures equal or better than normal
camera. On the other hand i really want to use window OS too.

I'm not gonna replace my NOKIA 925 anytime soon a Microsoft branded phone!!! This action of gradually changing Nokia brand to Microsoft is offensive to loyals and wont benefit MS sales. KEEP NOKIA BRAND AND DONT MESS WITH IT!!

It should read Lumia 830 by MicroSoft. Nokia still have other services not under Microsoft Brand

AnonD-82756, 06 Jul 2014I think the branding looks ok it was bound to happen Yeah, it's totally OK. Why not write down every single manufactuirer of every single part in the phone? That'd be the best!

AnonD-194100, 05 Jul 2014lumia problem is not see life video program.nokia the world... moreWhy you people like BugDroid and LagDroid????

I've used both of them and even now having BugDroid...its nowhere near to Windows. Windows is getting perfect and a lot better than Android if you really use a phone and you have used both for a long time.

If it had a big logo of Windows on the back and saying by Microsoft then it would have been perfect...But still its good and the new Nokia phones are getting better and better I've started hating BugDroid already

Seems like a decent piece to me. The name too isnt that bad though id agree that in time removing the Nokia bit will affect sales negatively. It looks beautiful and classy

13MP with PureView? I'm not sure this is going to be a mid-range device. But if it's priced as mid-range device, I'm surely going to buy it!

I hope it will be released soon, the 820 is desperately needing a successor. Design with the big circle looks a lot like the 1020 but the loudspeaker on the bottom looks more like the 930. It would be nice, a 930 and 830 release together soon.
