2500 in 5.5" phone is not relay attractive and it might act not much better than 1500 in the 5S,
it is a big step for Apple to start giving more options to there customers, and I think they will be surprised with the amount of people whom will like bigger screens,

Several fabs such as Samsung, Global Foundry, Intel, etc. are working on 14nm so if the SoC in the iPhone 6 is 14nm then it can probably get away with a smaller battery.

Size and OS complexity have nothing to do with it.
Go get a clean Android phone.. with Just one App installed. vs a fully loading iPhone. Android still lose in terms of quality and smoothness.

Is like a dual barrel carburettor car being as fast as a direct fuel injection car but the fuel injection engine is more frugal on gasoline. Simple logic.

Samsung users are busy making their phones black and white and swapping battery rather then using it.
It can only happen, because the apps in iOS is so well made that you will spend hours on end. Android have no quality apps.. everything is junk.

By 2015, iPhone 6S will have 800mah battery and can play back videos for 22Hours with the new A7 chip!

Standby time is irrelevant, because phone is meant to be used. When I've got my hand on LG 3000 mah battery it i like I've discovered America. I'm a tv producer and if i have 100 % in 8am, with extremly heavy use, I still have 40 % at 22pm and still 20 % next morning. For someone who is moderate user, 2 days is no problem

How well does the batte... moreiPhone keeps up with all Android flagships in term of battery life except the phablets. iPhone have longer standby time because Android background process is not as efficient iOS. Check your Android phone for battery usage for Android System, Cell standby and Android OS.
iOS, Android and Window Mobile are all very different and comparing specs rarely tells the story. Kinda like how Nokia 1520 have 30% more battery life than Note 3 when the battery size is so similar and 1520 have bigger screen. Pretty bad capacity, if this is true. I have used iPhone 4s for last 2 years and weak battery was always a problem. It can't last whole day of heavy use. So this is a bigger device a lot (4,7) and not even a 2000 Mah battery. So, Apple solved screen size issue, but battery issue stays

When Intel go from Ivy Bridge to Haswell, not only is the new chip faster, it is also 40% more power efficient. 13" MacPro battery went from 7 hours to 11 hours while gaining performance. Apple control the chipset, GPU and software and could easily get a 50% increase in battery life with the same size battery and the new battery is even bigger.
