" single line in a book is 66 characters. Traditional, rectangular smartphones can only display 40 characters on a single line. The Passport by comparison can show 60 characters on a single line" Why not 66 characters c'mon Blackberry?!

Dr Daaa, 09 Jul 2014Let's all just go baaah and continue carrying around the sa... moreDafaq?? BlackBerry, privacy? Thats hilarious, BB is the most privacy violating phonemaker ever, especially with BBM and also with PIN msgs, really horrible and disrespectful behavior towards their already few customers. If you want privacy i suggest iPhone or some Nokia models, or Android, sure Google loves to violate your privacy but the worst parts can easily be stopped or disabled.
ON BB10 there is no option to stop it or disable or uninstall the privacy violating stuff, you cant even log out, imagine that! You are forcefully becoming an always online BBM user with no way out. You are really shafted with BB10, the ONLY way to stop it is to disable/delete your BB ID from the phone, which means your BB phone will not be even remotely fully functional, you cant install apps from BB World and so on, you cant even trace your lost pone without it (though losing a BB is not much of a loss anyway)
BB gives you a choice between being shafted or screwed, you lose either way. Buying a Z10 was the most stupid purchase i ever made.

Zed, 09 Jul 2014heard 24hour format of time ?Are you that dense? It is 1337 aka LEET, and leet is something you definitely are not.
"The term leet is also used as an adjective to describe formidable prowess or accomplishment, especially in the fields of online gaming and in its original usage – computer hacking."

ryboto, 09 Jul 2014Do people fit the Note 1/2/3 in their pockets? Then based o... moreThe Note 1/2/3 are not as wide as this phone, at least going by the reference shot.
Let us, for a moment, just pretend that the Note 1/2/3 are the same width as this. This phone is quite a bit shorter than the Note 1/2/3, so there is virtually no benefit of having a passport when the Note 1/2/3 is more convenient and overall a better phone because of this rectangular form-factor. It's like taking a Note and cutting the top of the screen off. How do we benefit from doing that at all?

Let's all just go baaah and continue carrying around the same "I willingly pay Google with my privacy devices" or the iSheep phones. Shame on BlackBerry for innovating while safeguarding people's privacy.

The real question for Blackberry is: how many of these are you planning/expecting to sell? I live in Indonesia, one of BB's last strongholds, but I really can't see the average BB junkies choosing this over the other more familiar form factors. Or ditch their old bit still functioning devices. People here buy BB to chat, not work with spreadsheets.
