Anonymous, 06 May 2009ya but it would be nice to have a nokia phone with the look... moreAgreed, but as long as I know the newer Nseries devices are getting better build materials, just like the N97 and N86, with metal framings. Anyway, the differentiation in build quality is one of the main identification signs between the entire Nokia lineup. I say, Nseries are full multimedia devices, with good build quality and high prices. Eseries have quite better build and more advanced business feature, albeit packing more modest multimedia features (such as simpler menus and no dedicated audio or video processors). Xseries have quite good multimedia packs but lacks some found on the Nseries. The build quality is lower or sometimes equivalent to the Nseries and their prices are lower.

Why do Nseries devices still made with cheap plastics when the prices of the phones are so high? All Nseries devices should have the build quality of the Eseries.
Samsung seriously might just snap me away from being a long time Nokia ffan.

The ESeries phones aren't targeted for multimedia-hungry people, these instead go for the Nseries or even XpressMusic series (this started with the 5800, that was a kind of 'upgrade' to the Xseries). I have both the 5800 and E71 and I like them both very much, each one focusing on what they were designed for. The E71 is quick and a messaging king, with superb battery life, and astounding build quality that evend Nseries devices can't match. The 5800 is a multimedia supreme, with a big screen and great sound quality. Battery life is so-so, and the build does not come even close to the E71. The Eseries are for business or people who want a smaller, sturdier device that have quite good battery life and a non-nonsense pack of features.

features are pretty average... good phone but we're tired of tons of mid-end phones... bring the n97 to the market and announce something new...

Argh!! Finally a decent looking candybar phone with everything I need. But it should have come with a 5 mega-pix camera instead. This is much better than Nokia Xpress Music 5630 in terms of looks.

The E51 is an outstanding all-rounder and this device is likely to be, in a similar way to the E71, hugely popular beyond just the corporate sector.
