Chill guys its a great ph...do as i say n ur ph will be free from all probs...connect ur ph to pc and update ur ph via kies with the latest Nov 5th update only avilable through kise for now...m 99% sure that ur blue screen n restart issue will be resolved...if not go to authorised service center n ask them to replace binary files...this will work 100%...forget all ur worries and do it as soon as possible...1st go for latest update through kies...
Note: Update via kies takes more than 45mins depending upon ur Internet speed so be patient...

Just got updated my grand 2 to kitkat..everything is working fine ... ui is smoother...touch and camera is awesome..camera improved a lot ..i love this update..

Worked like a charm !! was almost gonna visit the SC. The sporadic reboot issue was gettin on my nerves until the continuos reboot totally .....me off.

After ugrading it to 4.4.2 i have no restarting or bluescreen issue and try my benchmark app it is score down to almost 4000 points I also run speed booster before I run benchmark, ?and weeks before updating it theres another automatic updates pop up it has 18.50mb software update. should I update it? help guys..

THE CASE AND ITS SOLUTION ( not exactly though )!!
Had the same blue screen and restart problem after upgrading to kitkat...hav already visited service center 4 times !! The problem still persists though only on very rare occasions. The concern for grand 2 users should be that samsung are not accepting the fact that the android version is faulty which actually makes your motherboard go faulty as the wifi downloaded kitkat upgradation file had errors. Had people downloaded kitkat via computer and their official site ...one wouldnt hav faced this problem. No matter wt you do ur fone is going to behave this way. And also service center guys say this thing that once the motherboard gets a faulty file ..it has to be replaced !! So thats a major issue for sure if it turn out to be 100% true.
starting your fone is safe mode is nt the solution as it only works for those who hav faulty applications and the issue is arising coz of those.
Android 4.4.4 is going to be released soon for grand 2 ..maybe by december or jan end shich will hav further bug fixes. That is the only solution as of nw.
Android 5.0 is not yet declared to be launched on grand 2. Though there is a speculation that samsung may launch but very frankly possiblity is very very minimul.
going to service center is not going to work ..if ur fone is under warranty ..you can force your way to a new fone if you hav the guts and the anger to fyt the samsung center as well as customer care.
So sit back and wait for android 4.4.4 version of kitkat and till then bear with this issue.
