i just follow these steps after this
1.Press together volume up + home button + power button
2.Release your fingers of the phone when Samsung logo appear
3.Choose with volume buutons "wipe data/factory reset" and select it with power button
4.Choose "yes" with volume buttons and select it with power button
5.Wait untiil format is complete
6.Select "reboot"
7.Wait until the phone restarts

I have galaxy grand 2. Is it right time to update from JB to KitKat, or I should wait for the next update???????????

Same problems i too faced but additional to that my phone is turned off permanently its not starting too horrible update.
please correct all the bugs as soon as possible thank you

KttKat 4.4.2 Update has RUINED MY PHONE!!!!!!! I can not believe Sprint pushed this update out and has not released a patch to fix the issues or provide an option to roll back the operating system.
Since the update I have experienced a myriad of horrifying changes and problems including:
- Battery drain
- Lock screen time widget not updating with current time
- Several apps missing after the update
I could live with these issues, albeit a nuisance these are at least things I can work around, however now onto the absolutely heinousness of the situation.
- screen does not turn on at all many times throughout the day when I go to use it
- when the screen does actually turn on it is incredibly laggy and often completely unresponsive
- other times the screen won't turn on but the bottom buttons will illuminate, I eventually end up having to pull the battery and resetting the phone
- oh and have I mention my SD card is now corrupt and completely rendered useless
- network connections are unstable - I often loose network connectivity throughout the day and receive error messages
- screen locks up constantly while trying to scroll the my Facebook newsfeed or Internet pages
- several apps crash/force close'
- unable to place a call because the screen locks up
Now for the icing on the cake - I lost all phone audio this evening leading me to preform a hard rest and restore the phone to factory settings. We'll see what happens but from what I've read on the other forums this factory reset is only a temporary fix to a MUCH BIGGER ISSUE.

Kitkat is nt good as it has sme bugs..eg.utorrent not downloading,sme apps dnt support kitkat......so think b4 updating.

there are lots of problems after 4.4.2 update on galaxy grand 2
1>your app don't have permission to write in memory card.
2>games not working fine."injustice god among us" which working nice before update,but after animation in games slow down and frame skipping.
i facing this problems

I updated to Kitkat and it is working fine..only problem i had is my sd card is corrupted after updating to kitkat but then i format and not it is working fine ,but over all its good one
