They should have ceased in their st*p*d*ty and steered away from their so-called Ultra Mega whatever pixels that only looks good on paper and in their small screen smartphones but sucks in real life.

the death of htc will be their stupid idea that they must do well in usa.
forget the usa.their slow,dull and not very bright.
its taken them ten years to getvtge idea of big smartphones and have held the wirld back for years.
other younger,new firms have taken decision to ignore usa and are doing very well because of it.
ysa was never that important,it is'nt now and never will be.
they like to think they control the planet,but if they do,its just another perfect examole that the usa could'nt organise a puss up in a brewery with the help of a coach firm and the aa.
forget the usa and htc may just be around in ten years.

Could be an ok thing actually. HTC make some outstanding units. Some silly points at time but overall recognised excellence. Their marketing to a point has always been at fault so if you are re-visiting this area of need then all the better. Onwards and Upwards.

What's with all that horsepower if it can only do web browsing, music player, takes notes, takes pictures, watch downloaded movies, chat, text, and alarm clock if you can also do this on older smartphones who also share the same feature?

HTC is done. Android users willing to pay $600+ for a phone only care about specs and name brand. The smooth iOS like Sense UI won't win over "power user" and regular users won't pay $600 for a phone from anything but Samsung.

HTC has the best quality and the most beautiful design of smartphone among the Android makers.
Very unfortunate HTC has a very poor marketing strategy!
HTC needs to hire a great CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) like Hugo Barra in Xioami Inc.

Software and hardware design chief is from Samsung.. I hope that he won't design HTC phones like Samsung..
