Dear ifans and fandroids, this is the main reason why you see the same old style over and over again from iphones. Coz its limited. If apple wants to try something new, they should increase RAM to 2GB at least (for lockscreen for example). Same goes to android. I'm no WP user but I'm positive that it can work on 512 devices..with smaller size and less animations though.. like iOS 7 on iphone 4 and iOS7 on iphone 5.

Unlike android apps Microsoft maintains strict control over how much ram an app can use. the lock screen has already been demoed on 512 mb device

people must understand once and for all that if u buy a cheaper phone you wont have all the features, apps and games, so stop complaining if you have a 51
2 mb ram device! its the same with android and wp, alot of games from android wont work on a 512 mb ram phone. ios has only a few devices and all expensive thats why all the apps works. if u wana have all the functions and apps buy a more expensive android or wp device. thats why some people pay more to have acces to all features and apps

Its either iPhone or Windows Android can never be a phone for use is just a lagy toy. I myself use Windows for calls, messages, mailing, Browsing, Photos and as my personal assist. I use Android for few of games etc nothing else.

But badly need a phone lock system other than the stupid number lock system that takes lot of time just to unlock the phone... In journeys it's really difficult to use the number locking system... Please add pattern lock at least... :'(

Yes, android is Laggy... but Good product.. most of the ppl like tat. wp good but not more then 15% market share. some more, most of the Wp is 2nd phone for the user. daily use phone still Android or IOS

If you don't... moreSaying 'only self rebooted twice' is painful to hear. Get a Lumia. I've had 0 reboots on my 920 for any OS version (developer 8.1 included) and I've owned that since launch.
I'm looking forward to a 1020 successor. BUT it better have glance support and wireless charging! That's all I ask for :)))

If you don't like it, you can downgrade to GDR3 or GDR2 anytime you want.
My Ativ S only self rebooted twice since I've updated it to WP8.1 dev prev about two months ago.
I updated it to GDR3 first before installing preview for developers app.
It's now on 8.10.12397.895 OS version.
The only bug that I really hate is that the camera sometimes only show blank black screen if I change some camera settings, but hey, it's developer preview, not the final release for this phone, logically, it's silly and stupid to expect bug free developer preview OS.
