Sony Xperia Z3 hits the FCC in Japan and International flavors

The phone is expected to make its debut at the IFA 2014 show in Berlin, which starts on September 5.

Without the 805 inside it's a waste of money. No reason to upgrade from the Z2. Even the camera is not updated, still the same 20 MP module, without OIS.

    It is very strange for a Sony to release flagship phone from Z2 to Z3 less than 6 months.

    By right Sony should have announced long waited Xperia Z2 Ultra.

      The Sony Xperia Z3 has payed a visit to the FCC where it has successfully undergone certification.

            Not looking good so far. If it doesn't even have an 805 then their 6 month update strategy to keep up with the specs has failed.

              I'm Z1 users, so there's no major upgrade on hardware, I think I'll wait for Z4 or Z5. I think Z3 is mostly doing some software tweaking & additional functions on software, just like what they did on Z2 (4k video, smart handling etc), but those thing can be ported to Z series phones, so I'll just wait.

                  I'm actually a Sony fan (I have the Z1), but from the rumours so far, the Z3 is hardly any different from the Z2. That's rumours though. Let the official specifications come out before we all boo them. But, so far, it's not looking good.

                    Seriously sony? 801 again? At least you guys pack in the snapdragon 805 for your upcoming flagship. 1080p is enough for me. Please upgrade the juice pack to 3400mah at least.
