Also check what memory capacity you have free on the device
If not enough memory download files to a PC save on disc. Then delete files from your phone
One your files are backup on PC so you still have a copy.
Rember video files saved on your device will take up a lot of memory and these devices don't have an infinite amount of it
Got to ssy my moto g has been fine on KitKat 4.4.4 and its more secure than earlier versions.

After I upgraded my moto g to ver. 4.4.4 since its driving me crazy...
Once in every 3rd day my SIM one will go DISABLE and will only come back (ACTIVE)...once I will not only reboot on top of thst I wud have to tak the SIM out and put back in....
So far I was dealing with it..
Now my issue went up a ladder..and today I cannot make outgoing calls at all...
ERROR :-- """Mobile Network not available""".
Eventhogh I have full Bars...and I can access wats-up and facebook...
Any one of you can suggest what can be done in this case....
NOTE :--- Rebooting multiple time din't help me.

Firstly I was quite confused whether to update or not. Accidentally pressed update as moto used to irritate telling upgrade to KitKat 4.4 avbl. Didn't want to upgrade; so tried to cancel.but this is not possible.only option to delay is click settings for download by wi fi only and never connect to internet via wi fi.
Why I did not want to update was ! I thought cell might hang.The download of around 140mb will take around 30 to 45min.this will go on whenever u connect to net.Download whenever u connect to net will be from the last status.no reset will take place.
So now in my case download finished and then I still delayed install for a few days.
Finally decided to test my luck to avoid the install update reminders.
Install over the cell switched off and switched on again on its own. Cell looked fine;dialer changed;battery performance looks better;still under observation; fingers crossed as no problems as of now..
2 weeks over without any problems. Only suggestion is that update only if ur moto g shows update available when u click system updates in the phone status option in the settings option. As this I think will be safe and moto can be held responsible.

ok I was reading up on 4.4.4 KitKat, before upgrading I guess after reading all the reviews I will not be upgrading.
Can any one let me know if they ever fix the problem on the same 4.4.4 version or will they make a 4.4.5 to fix the issues?
