AnonD-106654, 30 Jul 2014The fault is not the phone, but your friend being careless ... moreI know its about encryption, but what if a malware was designed to control the phone, then ot could copy the stuff before being saved to encrypted sd or something, getting bacdoors to phones seems easy these days.

Yes the nsa is so good,, it can't solve all the crimes tho can it..Madeline Mccan ,a sever assault at 2.30am in the morning at a pub in Sheffield,,can't find the kids on the Yorkshire moors..As i have said before folk are paranoid about nsa,,well i am not going to waste any of my life worrying about them.

When you get that big promise when you enter personnel info that they will NOT share it with third partys,,,of course they do...Just remember most of life is a con and full of untruths...Going to spend your days worrying about it? i am not, life short enough.

cyber, 29 Jul 2014nokia 1100 is most safe and cheap solutionWhat a useless comment. Does the 1100 have encrypted calls? Safe text messaging? Encrypted address book? Anyone can open a locked old Nokia without knowing the security code, theres no security at all. Simple doesnt mean secure.

goliath, 30 Jul 2014Am not bashing BB Am just stating my experience and asking... moreThe fault is not the phone, but your friend being careless by not installing an anti-virus on his device...my G2 had viruses on it but I took the liberty to install the anti-malware app. Security doesn't mean anti virus defender we are talking in terms info encryption. You do know that right??

AnonD-106654, 30 Jul 2014Maybe your friend likes using his phone as a storage device... moreAm not bashing BB
Am just stating my experience and asking why do they consider it very secure
I forgot to mention he only uses the memory on his phone,he does not have a pc
And if viruses and trojans can easily infect these devices then all of the info on it is at risk due to some info stealling malware that can reach the phone.

An excellent idea Germany, use BlackBerry definitely this will stop NSA (by the way, some part of BlackBerry are being manufactured by the USA...most probably has nothing to do with NSA)

You are being watched. The government has a secret system, a machine that spys on you every moment of every day. I know that because I built it.
I designed it to detect acts of terror, but it sees everything. Crimes commited by ordinary people, people like you and me. The government considers these people irrelevant, we don't.
Hunted by the authorities, we work in secret. But victim, or perpertaror, if your number is up we'll find you.

goliath, 29 Jul 2014I don't know how they BB phones are the best with security.... moreMaybe your friend likes using his phone as a storage device by going to all sorts of different pc's and hardly scans his phone after... Just because us scanned your friend's phone and you happened to come across filled with viruses doesn't mean the phone is not secure!! Maybe your friend is not careful with scanning his device on a regular basis for trojans. That's a fallacy in reasoning. We are talking in terms of encryption her and not a lousy virus he got from the internet cafe. Try and do better research and not bash bb just because you don't like it.

All these Android mobiles from China also pose a real problem because you dont know what else is hidden inside. They did it with USB flash drives when they first came out - hidden software, so when you buy Android there is nothing preventing the manufacture inserting their own spyware. Do you really know what is on your computer - no, we just accept the so called trusted software. Do you really know what you are buying with your Chinese manufactured Android device - you have no idea what software is inside and what personal information is being collected. Not a clue!

What gets me is some dumb arsed people think Android is actually secure. Any Government, politician, or sensitive business, would be stupid not to use Blackberry as your best bet. As for Apple, well the key is always there for NSA.

Blackberry is same proprietary crap, and according Snowden’s documents - contains backdoors.
                              ITS NOT SECURE!
