I wish HTC would do a phone with the design of the M7, the same camera as this one and the rest of thr specifications of the m8 except the on screen touch keys. There's enough space below the screen for the touch keys to be there! I don't get why new HTC phones and Sony Xperia phones constantly put them on screen with a huge empty bezel below because it looks a bit ridiculous.

Ugly has hell, which is odd because HTC this year has come up with a rather striking (good) design language for it's phones. This, though, looks like something a local Chinese or Indian manufacturer would make. The cost of water-proofing was too high if you ask me.

Should have just kept the metal M8 design and swapped the 4UP camera for the 13MP unit seen here, but that'd have all the M8 sucke...err...owners crying foul.

Between this, the M8, and the E8, I'd still have to take the E8.

HTC would be shooting themselves in the leg if they release this in the rest of Asia because the E8 has much the same features (minus waterproofing, dual camera) for a much more reasonable price. Not sure if the J Butterfly has an IR blaster or not.
