Is LG becoming the new Samsung ? What with spamming so many phones with negligible hardware differences ?
Still, they have a long way to go before they overwhelm the Galaxy

AnonD-30486, 09 Aug 2014Except that it doesn't actually have 512MB of usable RAM, t... morei hope it could be 460 mb of usable ram .... then the system would take about 100-150 mb which leaves at least 250-300 mb of useable ram

Except that it doesn't actually have 512MB of usable RAM, the total available memory will be around 300-400MB due to memory being allocated to hardware especially the GPU, ADSP, audio and surfaceflinger etc.. On top of that you'd have LG's own proprietary software running along with any other bundled apps. That would leave the user with only ~100MB of RAM to use. With that little memory even Chrome would stop caching tabs in memory, not to mention that most social network apps such as Facebook often use over 100MB of RAM when idle.

I don't get how 512mb ram can run kit kat smoothly, and a dual-core so slow will make this cellphone sluggish and useless in no time!!!
