I think we can learn something from this that the Note 4 will adapt same design build with metal frame around the outside. Not sure about the back though.

Stop bashing Samsung. I've used most Android phones. Samsung is by far the best in the game. Iphone just isn't worth the extra dollars. I would get this phone right awat, but I won't as it would be so pricey at first. People are no longer fooled by Apple. Sure ios is good but their offerings are not great for their prices.

Did anyone else notice the leather pattern at the back is gone? Ceramic? Better be something better than plastic or else this is a giant fail if it's intended as a premium handset. HTC have set the bar quite high in the Android world so they at least need to better the M8 in build quality. Personally I find the leather back on the note 3 incredibly durable. Over a year and no case and it's virtually brand new. I couldn't say the same of my 5S even if I wanted to...

1850 mAh battery is a bit weak but it is exactly the same as what Apple are putting in the iPhone 6 and Sony have a 2330 mAh battery in the Z1 Compact so a conservative guess would be a 2600 mAh battery in The Z3 Compact. These 3 phones will all be announced within weeks of each other its shaping up to be a very interesting month or so. My gut instinct based on spec alone puts the Z3 compact 1st then the iPhone 6 and last the Galaxy Alpha.

Chuck, 10 Aug 20141850 mAh battery? This is a joke. What are they smoking?For a 4.7" AMOLED screen its pretty goody.It also has newest exynos so it shoudl be battery friendly. I think its enough.

Z3 compact will beat this spec for spec hands down. The Alpha is a beefed up S5 mini at best in a metal shell.

yeah,, this sounds fun.. sammy in a knight suit and 12 mp .. as with non expandable SD card....32 GB is more than enough for me. and it sounds portable too.. i would obviously prefer this over iphone 6
