Samsung Galaxy Alpha is officially headed to Three UK

The first operator in the UK to confirm that it will sell the newly unveiled handset is Three.

That's they only reason why it was selling so well plus pinning their flag ship directly to apples Iphones as comparables. The only advantage these phones well android phones ever had was larger screens. Performance tests, Iphones score very very well for the specs it has and often outperforms its direct competitors, eg (iphone5 beating out S3's in performance test despite lower specs Iphone5s beating out S4's despite lower specs) its the efficiency of the iphones

        I am a resident at Qatar - i visited the Samsung Official Store here in Doha and the sales manager confirmed the Alpha will be available on the 18th of August - with the price tag of 2599 QAR which is almost 710 US$ ... FYI

Well android phones price drop after a couple of months. Who would buya phone with lower specs than flagship android phones with an overpriced tag? It may work in the us because of the whole carrier thing but android will still dominate most parts of the world! Im not willing to buy a 1000$ smartphone.. It's not even dust resistant. The battery is lower than the alpha does now which you are all hating on it.. What's so special about apple? Tell me one thing. Don't talk about lags. Samsung turned about the least laggy when it comes to other oems phones. Have you tried sony? .. Samsung phones are not laggy and their touchwiz is believe it or not much better than others. Have you tried pure android? It's like buying a featureless phone. Who said apple products don't lag? Check the forums honey. Plus a lot of apple products come with defects.. Ive never bought an android phone that has a small defect. Grow up people.. Iphone era is long gone. Its features? It has nowto copy android to live.

                The last time i checked the iphone 5s has a 1560mah battery. Alpha is more in numbers. Why are you complaining then? Ive never read any comment whatsoever regarding the iphone battery. Why? Because apple is american and americans always win? Please stop this. Apple products are no better than others. Most people use android.. Check mashable for instance they are always biased and act as there's no other phones than the iphone. Please.. Till when will you be fooled by this? I bet most of the analytics are wrong where apple dominates.

The designer is totally new also, as they fired the designer who did the Galaxy S Series. Expectation will be high for this. But it won't help much, with Zperia doing so well, and the upcoming iphone6, that will literally interfere with Samsungs lines of phone, their advantage was (bigger size screens) now that advantage is all but gone, because apple is releasing 4.7 and 5.5 inch phones.

                    desperate move in news of the coming iphone6. It's clear that their galaxy S line is no longer a strong enough competitor to the iphone6. this won't do much to help Samsung. Sorry Samsung. BTW it still has a plastic cover.

                      Stupid people always fall for marketing gimmicks like SuperHD 4" screens and slightly faster processors which contribute nothing to user experience.

                      This is the first Galaxy which is actually sensible and not geared toward the Walmart crowd, so the comments below are to be expected.

                          Yes i agree it will fail no there is no reason to buy it the battey also will last less than haif a day.....

                            i am amazed. Samsung actually time travels to the past with these specs. They are like the Benjamin Button of the mobile industry.
