Think, b4 talk!! it has camera with OIS, 2gb ram like s5 or m8, same processor n screen size, same screen tech like s5. whatever

i am a big fan of moto X. first android smartphone to have a dual core proc but act like iphones. all iphones have dual core proc. so dont judge by written specs!

Still waiting to see that if moto can do that much with a dual core, what it will with a quad core like sd801! very excited!

AnonD-205417, 17 Aug 2014a flagship? you guys are serious, common gsmarena hear you... moreNot a flagship? Are you serious?
Please look at HTC One M8 and Galaxy S5 for comparison.
          Only M8 has a metal body.Not S5.
Both have 4K recording and so does X+1.
Only M8 has a stereo speaker.X+1 is expected to have that too.
M8 and S5 both have 2GB RAM. So does the X+1.
          So please compare before critisizing.

definitely no fingerprint sensor or waterproof or any sort of sapphire screen thing or stylus pen or any particular camera(13mp) with no ois,
OH lord i see one that you mentioned:

common guys this would even hardly be a 2013 flagship,

These specs and bazels are last year news, LG did it first with G2 and Moto aought to come up with an answer to G3 now, not with a 2013 flagship

AnonD-44500, 16 Aug 2014Very dissapointed to hear its going to be a 5.2inch screen.... moreI dont think screen size is not a big problem, if they make the device so compact. see LG G2 with 5.2 inch, its really smaller in dimensions than xperia M2 ( but M2's screen size only 4.7 inch). if Moto makes the device's dimensions to compete with lg g2, its good to own. and battery should be 3000 milli amphere like G2.
in my own experience lg g2 battery is really good its comes 2 days, even in above average usage.

Very dissapointed to hear its going to be a 5.2inch screen. I really loved the 4.7 inch. Its going to be to big. Will have to get an iPhone 6 now since every other hero device is going +5inch.

My concern is losing battery life and the x8 processing platform that allows phone wake by voice which comes in handy when you lose your phone between the car seats at night or anywhere else. Its also awesome in the fact that its the closest to siri I you can get right now in android platform. I went from an HTC one to Moto X and the user experience makes up for the specs hands down.

The whole selling point of the Moto x was the ergonomics and peculiar hardware setup to maximize the user experience that set it aside from every other Android. Now it seems it will be just another Android, with the Galaxy Alpha being the unofficial X+1 after you've put AOSP on it

AnonD-77877, 15 Aug 2014What the f**k it willn't have microSD card and there is j... moreThis is a bit off the point, but look at simular phones like the LG G2 which specs almost identically, and the only version available in many countries is the 16GB model (Only 10.5GB free). No SD slot. The mind boggels, as storage is probably the cheapest part of the phone, with 64GB storage costing OEMs roughly 6$ to implement in a phone model. To my opinion, it's the cheapest way to upgrade the user experience and a flagship device coming without at least 64GB (or an SD slot) is unacceptable past 2013. I am personally constantly running out of memory, having to delete my music, pictures, videos, apps, etc just to get my phone functional again.

I'm still, totally in love with my Moto X...The X+1 thus far does not appear to be in the Moto X family..It's a shame Motorola (Lenovo) are essentially just using the name and as many point out, it will just be another high end android phone...big effin' deal! it was the innovation we loved Motorola...I shall be hanging on to my Moto X for years to come...

I think its going to be a great phone just cuz its some what larger Dosent really kill the user experience, these specs will inhance the user exp to make all around better!
