Apple iPhone 6 to have only 1GB of RAM

Just face it, Apple screws over their users because they can. They made a brilliant phone with the original iPhone; and even the iPhone 4 was pretty awesome. Then, once they were popular, they said 'screw you, we're going to use cheap parts, charge a fortune, and stay 2 years behind all android phones. 1gb of ram is a joke, an 1,800mah battery is a joke, and the fact that the 6 (only the 6 plus) still doesn't have a 1080 display? Seriously? And apple's supposed to be the one who touts this 'retina display is best' garbage?

Android does not NEED more than 1GB ram either since everyone want's to get technical. Kitkat is made to run well on 0.5GB ram. But the system still benefits from 1,2, and 3GB ram.
IOS could definitely benefit from 2GB of ram.
But they refuse to give you your monies worth...
But they will give you 64Bit on a system with only 1Gb ram just so they could be first. Meanwhile there will be memory and efficiency drawbacks due to the system not being able to properly utilize the 64bit architecture. Which is probably why the I5 was more stable.

I think your just an apple fanboi. I have the original note 1 it came with gingerbread upgraded to icecream and over a year ago got updated to jellybean 4.1.2 it has performed flawless! i download movies and music videos and transfer to a usb flash drive every week for 3 years! as well as emails and everything else. Im thinking if you didnt like your very old s2 it was time to move on

Everyone who has one is complaining. That's 5s, 5, and 4s. There was some 4 too but that I understand....AL though according to all of you it has all the hardware it needs to run smooth.....not.
Just everything about the experience is so crapple in comparison. And a lot of that has to do with the slapping together of ios7.

I think the apple flock are looking at it the wrong way in that they are comparing 1gb ram to androids 2 and 3gb ram and saying oh well it doesn`t matter ios is easier on the ram it doesn`t drink it as quick as android. but the way they should be viewing the situation is if the iphone 6 had 2 or 3gb ram instead of only 1gb it would be possibly 33% faster phone stingy apple use some logic...

Don't compare the iPhone to other phones on specs alone. Just because it probably wouldn't run Android smoothly doesn't mean it won't run iOS smoothly. It's the same with Windows Phones, focus on the actual usability, not what your favourite OS would be like on the device. iPhones have always been well known for their smooth user interface, this will probably be no different. People should focus on actual drawbacks, not redundant ones.
