Xcode 6 SDK hints at iPhone 6 display resolution

According to some of the files found inside Xcode 6, the display resolution will be 828 x 1427.

Oh my god the most annoying phone of the year. Leaks and leaks after,one and in the end an outdated overpriced. Ugly phone would be revealed. Just release the phone or shut up

With android yes you can do everything but 90% of people do the daily basics so you pay for something that you use only 5% of what it can do.

        If we want to bash, even the ultimate smartphone in the world (whichever that may be) will never be good enough.

        One should simply choose the best phone that suits you, not other people. Bashing is simply negative activity which reflects on an insecure mind.

          Yet I have not seen any bashing of Samsung's answer to the iPhone 6, the Samsung Galaxy Alpha which has a resolution of 720x1280. Hardly earth shattering too isn't it?

The best would be a display that is very sharp, but then optimised with battery life.

              Putting the sharpest just for the sake of it, when there is no discernible difference, yet hampers battery life, is an exercise in futility.

              Android manufacturers unfortunately, have to go this route, as they have to differentiate themselves using hardware, and 'specs' lists.

              Apple fortunately, has more say in balancing its product, and to find an optimised sweet spot.

                Apple fans do not understand resolution, may as well call it Retina2 or ultaRetina or hipster-Retina. That will sell it, not the res itself.. :)

                    poor pixel density , must be 1400p for future side by side 3D viewing. I got LG G3 and its perfect for 3d viewing.

Hardly anyone needs more than 720 at 4.7", other than purely for the sake of higher specs, so this resolution is perfect for the size. And I am not an Apple fan, quite the opposite.

                          First post!

                          Not even full HD resolution when ultra hd res tvs can be brought for $1200 come on apple get with the program im not even gonna mention 1gb ram and dual core.....

                          In my opinion iphone 6 specs should be full hd screen 3-5gb ram 2.5ghz quad core cpu. Extremly thin bezel 0.6mm

                            thing what makes me laugh. Apple coin the term Retina Display. and too be honest nearly every smart phone even budget has ppi of over 300ppi.

                              AT 4,7 INCHI we have already 1920 x 1080 pixels. that is innovation. but apple fans do not need more :)))
