Android Man, 21 Aug 2014answer is no. as the highest core is only 1.8 ghz, therefor... morePerformance of krait 400 cpu like one in the sd 800/801 soc are 3.39 dmips/mhz. For cortex a57 it is 4.76. So for krait 400 on 2.5ghz this is 8475 and for a57 on 1.8ghz it is 8568 ;)

rj23, 21 Aug 2014Will that Octacore be more powerful than the Snapdragon 800... moreanswer is no. as the highest core is only 1.8 ghz, therefore 2.5 GHZ Snapdragon 801 in S5, is a hell of lot faster. now if it was a true octocore. IE 8 cores on one chip. Like Mediatek chipset. yes it would rock.

Will that Octacore be more powerful than the Snapdragon 800/801? The GPU is a little disappointing though.
