didn't Apple say 3.5 inch was perfect for human hands, then 4" is perfect yet again.
So now they are coming up with 4.7, 5.5 phones that they themselves and iSheeps would had say is terrible for human use?

Those dimensions are kind of big for the screen sizes. There are year old Android phones with 5" screens in a similar body as the 4.7" iPhone and 5.7" screens in a similar size body as the 5.5" iPhone.
So much for Apple's hardware design prowess. They're really lagging these days, now that they're also copying the design trends from the Android interface (lighter colors, more flat icons, everything being more heavily cloud intergrated).
The iPhone is really the phone for people who don't want to make choices, but would rather have a company tell you what's good for you, and at the same time tell you that you're better than other people for liking it. Of course, that is simpler and easier on some level.
I guess there's also something to be said for waiting to see what works and what doesn't on more innovative platforms and then copying them and working the bugs out. But again, this is the opposite of being innovative.
Apple's real genius is copying everyone else, while convincing people at the same time (including the courts) that they invented it. That's why Steve Jobs was the greatest salesman (and businessman) of the late twentieth century. But a technology innovator he was not.

If this is true, the 5.5 will have a taller body than the 5.7" Note 3, with a roughly equal width. That's disappointing.

Fake. Foxconn don't know the weight of iPhone 4.7" but they have exact weight for 2 prototypes of 5.5"? 4.7" was taped-out early so exact spec is ready before 5.5".

Great shame for Samsung who copied so hard.. release so much trolls and degrading advertisements... and yet cannot beat the sales of one "ugly" phone.

I'm not keen on the new iPhone's design, and bezels. The display will be gorgeous no doubt, but I fear for the battery life. Making a device as thin as possible isn't going to help, especially when the life of this device is at least two years to a lot of people on contract.
My iPhone 5 lasted a day when I first bought it, but due to updates, and daily charges, it barely made it to 12 hours.

What an ugly design. I always said that iPhones looked OK and were OK but they do not deserve their prices. Now, they will also be ugly. Look at that protruding camera, it looks strange, like someone glued a big lens on the outside of the phone. Also, that HTC-copied antenna bars look ugly. Where are the ”innovations” this time?

Too big for a 4,7 inch. Apple always suported small size phones and should do the best they could to keep it small but they messed up
