Recently I was lucky enough to get an invite, and decided to upgrade from my Nexus 5. I couldn't be more pleased with the hardware, and am in love with cyanogenmod's version of Android. And the price is absolutely unbeatable...

After a few days my Mi3 will arrive, I'm tired of waiting for this phone and I don't have a phone to take pictures because I broke the old one and all the photos are gone, not to mention the instragram bull :/ No thanks!

Its pretty ridiculous. Half the people will instead sell their email with the invite or forward it for money like they're currently doing on Craigslist, overpricing the phone and selling invites from $50-$150. Great job for the OnePlus One for allowing others to make a profit off of your phones.

These guys are nuts.Yea I agree that they trying to build interest in their device by going the invites way. But we live in a world where the customers are used to throw their money and get what they want.
This device alone is not neither good enough, not it's cheap enough to survive much more by just relying on a hype.

This is a great spec phone
Just the silly marketing way to sell the phone has destroyed any way of getting the phone.
Next time just bring to stores,as you are part of the OPPO chain of companies.
Use their stores
So I got the the invited
what a waste of time so hard to work out what you wanted me to do
so gave up now waiting for the Xiaomi M4 http://www.mi.com/mi4

So let me get this straight. They are "giving away" the "gift" of being able to give them money and buy their phone. That's usually a feature that most products come with. And they do not require any consumer action other than giving them your money to begin with.
This is such a cheap way to get people to become cogs in their PR machine, help promote the phone, and give away personal information all at the same time.
This invite thing has been the stupidiest thing about the OnePlus One. For a company that was so good at the PR and generating hype before the phone came out, they seem to have turned off countless would be customers with the invite system.
It's better when phones are released and they're just hard to get at fist. The most motivated customers can preorder or run around looking for a place that has one or pay a premium on eBay. Everyone else can wait until the phone is more readily available.
As much as that can be a frustrating process, OnePlus One has taken something which is already annoying and made it more annoying. Bravo.

Like everyone else I've lost interest in this phone. Too late now especially with alot of new flagships coming out within the next few months, notably the iPhone 6, Nexus 6, Note 4, Xperia Z3, Moto X+1. Too late OnePlus, everyone's moved on... I'm personally waiting for the Nexus 6.

Seriously OnePlus already proved they're jerks in the Cs field. I'll pay a little extra for a flagship with a freaking warranty! I'm not subjecting myself to advertise for the asses just for the privilege to pay them for their damn phone.

Not for some people. Here in Canada, used Z2, S5, and M8 still go for $400+, depending on condition.
$350 for a brand new 64GB flagship is really appealing.

OneplusOne stop fooling people with your crap and furthermore your invites system.Seriously your company have no respect for consumers.Even if you give this smart phone for $100 i am not going to purchase it.Do you think we are that much desperate and cheap?I will never purchase smartphone from this company ever.
