There isn't a better phones than note series for me. It just does the job perfectly all round mobile monster simple as that. Purley satisfied with note series. You only need 2 days to get used to the big screen and after that everything else looks like a toy. I hardly look at other phones since I stated using note series. Currently using note 3 and I won't buy note 4 not cuz it's bad but coz note 3 dosent need improvement atm

I'm not talking about the iPhone only but as a whole prior to your comment that people are scam? So people who buy iphone was scam so people who buy HTC, Samsung , Sony etc was scam also because you can buy a xiaOmi cheaper and same specs? I was disappointed in s5 because it was not an upgrade of my s4. What I said the last post that Samsung is being aggressive this year because there quarterly salea went to down and android competitors like HTC and LG are getting popular now.

Xiaomi mi 4 is a great phone with the specs and the value but why do people still buy LG G, galaxies, notes, Xperias, HTC and more so meaning it a scam also? The xiaomi brands is great example of cheap and great specs in affordable price. Why would us buy it? It because the brand.

And it's not that specs do not matter or ios users only care about the os. It's just that people are generally clueless or mislead into the belief that apple somehow works unique magic into ios.

I love the G3 when I saw the HTC one (M8) it was a wow in my face but in the s5 it was like "huh?". LG g3 won to me than Htc m8 by a little.

I think people don't just buy Iphone for the specs only but how apple doing a great job of producing not only the phone but the OS they make and invest. I'm not an apple fan but my friends who use iphone doesn't make a good priority in specs only. We android user on the under always check the strongest and the best specs so it's different in any other comparison. I had an S4 then bought an Lg g3 and I'm happy with it. Android phone will always be there but now Lg is doing great but Samsung kinda not, I was so disappointed on the S5 that's why I switch to LG g3

People then expected the S3, S4 and S5 to repeat it, it probably did for those who felt the same way we felt about the S2
Mosr likely the phones was bought on a contract, the S2 was streaks ahead of anything else like just after a meal your satisfied.
The S3, S4 only offered little and did not take away or proved to be in anyway inferior when the latter came along.
The are the specs and by specs I mean SPECULATION as to if it will have included the optimal parts making for the optimal device and anything less is a betrayal and as such can be criticised? Excuse me
Thosr who chase the flagship phones are basically saying " I love to death and that will be when Samsung announces the next flagship, so DON'T unpack"
Samsung executives are confident that the Note 4 will be a spectacular and separate itself from premium phones.
I am confident that like the advert it will be a jaw dropping evnt and wont disappoint
The Note 4 has clearly worried Apple so mych so it has upped its own announcement by 10 days to 09/09/14 to lessen or try to the public and media attention the phone will have
Samsung excutives dispite what they said have already launched the Samsung Alpha, 12Mp Quad Core phone in METAL clearly aimed at the iPhone user (32Gb Non expandable ) which will easily surpass what will be included in the 16Gb iPhone 6
The Note 4 is a flagship phone and will be a showstopper,
It will be a tough act to follow and Apple will follow
There have been many iPhone leaks , the Note 4 will conver a lot of people and the announcement will generate sales in other flagship
The iPhone comes 6 days after and won't change the mind of those blown away to return to what wiil be the specs of a 2012 midrange phone

This is Samsung's only successful and solid line up up to now. Note series never disappoints. The s5 is a let down. The Alpha is... well, in its alpha phase. The new Mega is only an upgrade to the cheaper 5.8 and is way overpriced. The new grand lacks bigger storage option. The Note will come full circle this year with its metal corner build, QHD screen and upgraded processor. There's only one basic feature that the present Note is lacking: The FM Radio found in cheaper to mid range Galaxy series phones.

That's a given as SD 805 and Exynos 5433 both support LTE

Definitely not out of the realm of possibility, but not a deal breaker for me.
5) 4 GB RAM
4GB would be more likely for the Exynos version, but 3GB is plenty any day of the week.
6) 64 GB HDD
Hopefully at launch, but surely sometime thereafter.
7) Micro storage slot
I don't see the Note series losing its MicroSD slot anytime soon. Even with 128GB internal, some sensitive data needs to be removable. Phone gets damaged, goodbye info. Everyone doesn't store/back their info on the cloud, so I'm with you on this.
8) Great speakers & mike
While dual/quad speakers would be cool, a single offering is just as effective. I really don't care either way. No smartphone speakers sound as good as even the cheapest, portable, mono, mini bluetooth solutions (e.g. Max-Micro WAVE $10.99). And no matter what song you play, it's still coming from a smartphone, which is not stellar by any stretch of the imagination. IMO, audio-out technology is much more important. Same mic from Note 3 or better will do as it is very clear.
9) Good build quality
A metal frame is almost guaranteed. I prefer the perforated back cover's texture over an all metal design myself.
10) 5.9 inch screen
Right now, 5.7" seems to be the choice, but I'm holding out hope for a 5.9" display as well.
11) 16 - 20 MP - OIS Camera
13, 16, 20, 40 MP doesn't matter. A higher quality sensor w/ OIS is the key. At the end of the day, it's a smartphone. I honestly wouldn't mind if it had a camera built similar to that on the Note 3 as it put a lot of other smartphone cameras to shame in image/video quality. Just make it a 1/1.7" sensor, aperture at f/1.8, and include optical image stabilization. That would be lovely.
