Whereas the Galaxy S5 has different variants for AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, etc. So for the S5 those rankings are sliced up between all variants. That said, something does seem fishy here...

The problem is sheer overpricing by AT&T, the $199 front end cost puts it in there competing directly with Apple iPhone
LG with the G3 have done the sensible thing and lowered the price so is does not and will not be in the same bracket as the iPhone
The LG G3 is and will be infinitly better than the all iPhones (I include both both versions of the iPhone6, reason Apple eg will NOT add 5Mp to the camera)
As you can see the LG G3 and fire phone are better than the iphone but people are buying the iPhone given a choice.

The Fire phone will come in with HIGHER hardware specs than the 4.7" Apple iPhone6 and infact be a much better purchase per Gb memory yet costs even more than LG G3

I was interested to look the amazon be... moreThe Amazon listing is different because they list by #1 in carrier activations and most people don't active phones through Amazon on the carrier of their choice. They normally just log into their carrier. The listing is different when it's for no contract phones.

Not surprising. It's a really expensive phone for an (arguably) lesser, more restrictive version of android. Amazon is marketing the hell out of this thing too, which makes these #'s look even worse. The tape on every Amazon package i've seen since the launch has been an advertisement for the Fire phone. Tons of commercials and carrier promotions.
If you think about it, what does the Fire phone actually bring to the table that other phones don't? Creepy camera's in all 4 corners of the screen? Consumers are saying Thanks But No Thanks.

6 inch and above is great for lots of people if not most people, not for me but thankfully i have the ability to not apply my personal needs and preferences to other peoples buying decisions. You should try it some times.

Why anyone would release a phone with such a small screen these days really baffles me.
For now I am sticking with my 6.4 inch Xperia Z Ultra.
Its so very thin.
I will never own a phone with a screen smaller than 6 inches.
