That is why they always get into patent disputes with everyone and ironically, they lose 99% of the trials. They cheat in benchmarks. Moreover, they are not of those brands I would consider buying.
Well, it's not right though. Give credit when due. Samsung does innovated a lot of stuff recently but well... Meh!

Well I do gotta agree Samsung owns the lions' share but are you forgetting something? It is Galaxy S5, S5 LTE A, S5 Active, Mega 2, Mega, Note 3, Note 3 Neo, K zoom and many more vs iPhone 6 in the case of Apple and if you look at individual figures. Apple takes lead over Samsung as it is 1 vs 20 :)
I don't deny how much efficient S5 and Note 3 and Note 4 will be but however, I deny the overpraising of devices which they don't even deserve. Credit should be given where it is due but however, when will you get your payment from the Samsung's marketing department? :)

That's why sometimes less is just more... for the right reasons.
If Apple was to surprise with an iphone with even a mere 2GB of RAM, Apples sales will go through the roof (exaggerating here but you get the point).
If Samsung shows up with another 3GB/4GB smartphone... meh... What the heck do you NEED a 4GB RAM for in a handheld device when you've got a smartphone with 3GB RAM already. The performance difference will go unnoticed.

Anon, 28 Aug 2014I think if Samsung's doing better, then they'd better be of... moreWell, i have to admit that my Xperia phones has been extremely reliable and stable, after all Android has a Linux kernel and instability isnt one of Linux' weaknesses. Its everything else i dislike about Android, its hard to find any advantages at all, and Android fans cant find any advantages as well, thats why they always pull out the "customizing" card when asked and then i cant do anything else than give them that look "lol wut?".

Muthu, 28 Aug 2014I don't think Apple will take a beating this year. They are... moreI didnt know Apple fans had asked for an insanely long thin stick with a small battery? Neither did anyone ask for the ugliest protruding camera since the HTC One X, or cheap looking rounded sides?
The good thing is that after ip6 is out i can save some on a 32GB iPhone 5s with a battery case but most likely i have to get a Z3 Compact, so sad to have to return to crappy OS but Apple isnt giving me much of a choice here.

They are providing (larger screen) what their fans are asking for!. Add sapphire display, slightly faster CPU, slightly better camera - that would be more than enough to sell 150+ million units of iphone6 to ifans in next 12 months.
All android manufacturers flagships (including samsung) have taken a beating from mid range android devices this year. That trend will continue for the rest of the year (except note 4 possibly, that should be in a league of its own). late 2015 or 2016 is when Android midrangers will challenge iphone in sales (through sheer hardware advancement and significantly lower price with good user experience).
