Early teasers promised the "first 64-bit octa-core smartphone processor" but new rumors point to a quad-core.

          I think this is a teaser for something big. HTC wouldn't tease a 64bit mid-ranger,I think HTC has something they've been waiting to release. since the nexus rounds.....their first 64 bit phone. It will be released on September 4th. I cant wait... surprise me HTC.

            upleaks is completely wrong about the D820. If you look at htc's Weibo official page, it tells you that D820 will come with s615 instead of s410 directly because it says octa-core and 64-bit. s410 is only quad-core, not octa-core. So upleaks just doesn't know anything and mistaken other device as D820. That's all.

                            htc and apple have trademarks not the copyrights like lg,samsung,sony lol htc is best in android use and say not just specs... i use htc since 3yrs i keep on changing to the new phones as its released

                              probably it is an updated version of desire 816, if it is true, the gpu and the cpu would be better, the rest: screen size and rez, ram, main camera and even the battery are the same.

                                    The battery is only 2,600 mAh for 5.5"? I'm not sure that's adequate. Better have a minimal of 3,000 mAh for 5.5".
