I just jumped for joy!!! X1 was almost a perfect phone to me. Hope this will bring it to another greater heights and hopefully, it will be my next phone :D

As some1 else said previous said hope Xperia X2 will be made in Japan,other than that hope the features will be something like this :
OS : Window Mobile 6.5 or Android
Processor at least 1Ghz
Camera : 5 MP
Optimized Xpanels
Capacitive Touchscreen with touchFLO 3D ( fluid navigation through the menus )

It may also follow in the footsteps of the original where by the time it finally hits the shelves it is already to some extent too over-priced, although most windows mobile devices could be classed as excessive in price in comparison to other OSs.

SE Experia 1, was a disastrous project for the company. It caused huge loses in 2008, hope they don't make the same mistake twice.

This really seems to be a fake, the design of this sequel is too basic, especially the dpad and the other keys below the screen, they're all too age old and very un-xperia like. And
finally there IS NO xpanel shown in the phone's snapshot.

its soo funny how people can bash the x1, curious persons should visit the xperia forum over at the xda-developers community to see what the x1 and their owners are really saying about this piece of device.
currently i own the black x1 and i am selling it on friday, then on monday, i will be purchasing the silver xperia x1, so far i have not seen or tested any other phones that i will replace my x1 with, only the iphone in my opinion can come close to the x1 or any of htc new wm devices.
the x1 in your hand is nothing compared to pics or videos online, once you pick it up, you dont want to put it back down, not exaggerating here, its a fact.
i think people need to stop bashing a phone bcos its out of their price range, im sure if the bashers were to get one for free they would never bash.
about this supposed to be leaked of the x2, god i hope this is not the x2, bcos this is one ugly mofo for a phone

Seems like as the article reads, a poor piece of industrial attempt at a phone copy perhaps that even of a chinese fake that seems to flood the markets.
Would be suicide for Sony Ericsson to launch something of such attrocity after all their other art works (Satio and such).

I like my X1 but I would love a slightly lounder external speaker and for the screen to be transreflective. I am fed up of touch screen phones that are practically impossibe to read in direct sunlight. I don't specifically want an Iphone but they should take a leaf out of their book when it comes to the screen which is full transreflective and lovely and crisp under even the brightest conditions.

X1 sucked, so many returns on that one I gave up trying to sell it months ago. This picture better be a fake cos it looks dated compared with recently announced handsets. Note to SE, sort out the reliability of your handsets first and foremost!!!

X1 didn't teach you a lesson, did it? As far as I remember, it took several months to finish software of the phone *after* it reached the shelves. The x-panels or something. There were supposed to be 9 of them but only 6 or so worked when it started selling.
Or so I heard. I didn't try X1, don't plan to touch X2 either. x3 price isn't for me, no matter what it is made of.
