In short you're more awake than your watch. So much for the alarm for waking you up on the morning I guess. I think you would need seperate clock to do it.
So you'll literally have a smartphone clock, wrist clock & alarm clock.

12-15 hrs is enough for a whole day coz u are not wake-up for the whole 24 hrs. and the rest is for you to recharge the watch. for travelers u need a power bank to ensure u will have enough power to carry.

Smuti, 06 Sep 2014I was excited about the Moto 360, but when the battery life... moreSame here. 12-15 hours is absolutely useless for a watch. A full day of regular (not minimal!!) usage if the minimum, preferably 1.5 - 2 days if possible.
People are buying on the hype, and will regret as soon as they see their days coming through with an empty watch when they are returning home at the end of the day.
Shameful because this is *the* requirement you need to get right upfront if you even dream of making a watch. The watch is definitely spectacular otherwise, especially for a first generation device.

Let's put it in this context. Your phone lasts a day with heavy use or 2 days of moderate use. You charge it every 24 hours or every 48 hours. This phone needs to charged twice a day on standby.
