Actually a firmware change will change this hahaha It will also allow multiple other things as well as multi tasking! it's a different type of multi tasking though. To hard to explain in this reply, in short, apple have chosen i different way to do it in order to relieve pressure from the ram and keep up battery life..

I predict that it will have the ability to heat bread and will be capable of actually making toast. All leaked info so far points to this.
And, the 3.2 MP camera will double up as a concentrated laser and will be wieldable similar to that of a light saber.
The ground breaking ability of forwarding SMS would also be welcome.

A new OS will be like getting a new phone, I can't wait to write a message on a card, take a photo of it and email it to all my friends telling them I can now send it by MMS but I'm not going too because I don't want to pay so much.
I wonder what hardware attachments opening the dock connector API's will bring, once that gets going trivial things like camera resolution will become irrelevant, as you'll be able to attach a module.
The iPhone OS now has more applications available for it than ANY other mobile platform.

Supporting flash in safari and fwding text messages would be pleasing upgrades for me. Also restricting ringtones to m4r files is a rather annoying feature that hopefully won't be in the next version.

dont care about the camera, 3.1 AF min, 5mp nice but not important.... MUST HAVE radio, better battery, more memory and faster, video as a minimum, ..... fm transmitt and OLED would be really nice. If it has all these i will probably upgrade from my N82 :-)

Iphone don´t have the caapcity of multi task ..... this is very important ....you can only run only one aplication ....

Mate your incompetence and lack of knowledge is a reflection of your bias against the phone. The resolution on a screen this small is rather irrelevant and unnoticeable to the eye. Camera quality can't be measured on MP, rather on lens quality, so just see what happens. iPhone interface is far superior to WM having far less crashes, simpler and faster. Now your stupidest comment is no programs and games?? Shows you have never even used an iPhone as the app store is it's strongest selling point offering far more applications than on any other phone. Also mac OS uses far less ram and processing speed to run programs, therefore working out more effecient than your HTC's... Maybe you should do some research and give the phone a go before you judge it. It is the single best phone for data, music, interactivity and interface...

3x the screen resolut... moreThe problem with HTC though is that having built in dedicated 3D acceleration hardware, they then refuse to licence the drivers meaning that it doesn't work.

HTC HD or Diamond 2 is much much better .....
windows mobile is much better .... more interface and customizing options .....
