Latest software release for Nokia 130 is 10.02.11
- "Contacts not ready" error fixed.
- Bulgarian language support added (available in selected countries).
- Improved stability and performance.
The update is currently available in Europe region only.
Series 30+ phones do not support OTA (over-the-air) updates,
but you can update the phone using Nokia Software Recovery Tool.

Nokia 130
PROS:
(USB Charging, Transferring Data by the use of USB Cable, SD Card up to 32GB,
Radio, Mp3 Player, Bluetooth, Mini-SIM. All Check)
Design: Good build quality.
Battery: Superb, can last for 2-3 days.
Mp3 player: Can play in background.
Keypad: Responsive.
Speaker and Voice call: High/Clear Quality. No voice leakage.
CONS:
Bluetooth: Limited use only to send, recieve Mp3.
No Internet connectivity (No browser, No GPRS/EDGE).
No JAVA. Not threaded sms view.
No use for Images because it doesn't have a Photo viewer/Gallery
(No support for any JPEG or Other Picture file formats).
Keypad: Solid plastic buttons, hard to press.

Senior citizens here in Pakistan, still admire Nokia's feature phones, they have a memory of Nokia's old legacy, like my dad was really happy when he saw Nokia 515 in a metal clad elegant look.

This does not stack up well against Chinese feature phones, you get a pretty good device at less than this price with camera and led flash. In this price bracket they tend to have Wifi as well, some have analog TV tuner too (analog tv signals are still alive in Asia and theres no plans to turn them off)
And it uses the superold fat BL-5C battery, that explains why this phone is so thick.

Nokia 130 - 1 iPhone ... moreAnd strangely all iPhones come with a USB charging cable in the box which works with any USB port, and there is microUSB adapters readily available.
Has anyone ever heard about an iPhone user with USB charging problems? I havent, only the iPad doesnt charge when connected to a PC USB port (iPad need higher current).
The discussion of Lightning vs microUSB is long since over and Lightning won, in fact the new USB standard is more like Lightning than microUSB, wonder why? Because Lightning is the best connector on the market maybe? Yes it is, you would know if you had tried one. Maybe i get a Z3 Compact at some point but i sure hope its the last microUSB device i will ever own.

A good phone, but sadly it doesn't have camera. I'll stick with my old Nokia XpressMusic as backup phone.
